S&A’s destination wedding in Granada was minimalist yet elegant and filled with beautiful moments.
A few years ago, S&A took their first trip together to this beautiful city in southern Spain, and they fell so in love with it that they decided to have their wedding in Granada.
The Palacio de los Córdova was the starting point: a venue overlooking the Alhambra, surrounded by greenery, and reflecting the balance of history and character that defines the city.
From there, we built everything else.
The ceremony took place with the Alhambra as a backdrop, letting the setting speak for itself. The arrangement of the chairs, the afternoon light, and the landscape created an almost cinematic scene, without the need for any artificial embellishments.
For the decor, we opted for a very clean aesthetic: long tables, white linens, vintage glassware, and small floral arrangements in shades of green and white. Light elements, designed to complement the space without stealing the spotlight.
One of the major challenges of this wedding was precisely that balance: designing something worthy of the venue, but without competing with it.
The guests, many of whom had traveled from different parts of the world, experienced the celebration as a complete experience: not just a wedding, but a destination, an atmosphere, a shared memory.
The couple’s goal was precisely to have a celebration where the venue, the cuisine, and the local culture would offer a unique experience to all attendees.
And in the end, that is what defines a well-planned destination wedding: when the venue, the design, and the story come together naturally.
