R&G castle wedding

Last August we planned a beautiful castle wedding in Scotland, and it was simply magical!

When R&G contacted me to organize their destination wedding in Scotland, I knew it was going to be very special because they were very clear about what they wanted: to create a unique experience for their guests and to realize the dream of their lives, that is to get married in a forest and surrounded by the history and beauty that this beautiful country has to offer.

THE VENUE

The castle chosen for this event was perfect! It hosted the group of 40 guests who were able to enjoy a unique weekend. Besides the beauty of the palace, this place was also surrounded by a beautiful forest, where we could have a beautiful ceremony.

THE CEREMONY

Accompanied by the clarsach and violin and surrounded by an intense greenery, the bride and groom said “I do” in a magical and romantic atmosphere.

It was undoubtedly the most beautiful and special moment in which the music, the wild flowers, the wooden benches and the natural light filtering through the trees gave life to an intimate and emotional atmosphere.

At the end of the ceremony, the sound of bagpipes accompanied all the guests to the castle to continue with the reception.

THE DINNER

In an elegant candlelit hall, R&G and their guests enjoyed an evening of laughter, conversation and good food.

The atmosphere was so magical that it seemed like something out of a fairy tale. Two long wooden tables, floral centerpieces in colors like burgundy, green and touches of chocolate and yellow were mixed with high candles and elegant stationery … Every detail was in perfect harmony with the environment.

And to cut the cake, what better than in the library where all the guests continued with their chats until the bride and groom opened the dance with an elegant waltz.

The R&G castle wedding was full of details, from the Scottish dance class in the morning, to the Highland games with rope in the early afternoon and before everyone got ready for the ceremony.

An unforgettable weekend for the bride and groom and their guests who enjoyed the culture, food and beauty of Scotland to the fullest.
