boda de destino m&j en granada

M&J from the USA chose Granada as their destination wedding, after Melissa studied in this city during university and returned with Jack for their first trip as a couple.

They both love Granada and the memories they have of this beautiful place. So they decided to say “I do” in front of their family and friends in one of the most emblematic venues of the city.

The Parador de Granada is a convent built by order of the Catholic Monarchs on the site of an old Nasrid palace of which some parts of the space remain.

The Parador is in the Alhambra fortress, right next to the Palace of Charles V, and its location makes it even more special.

And right in its beautiful gardens overlooking the Generalife, M&J had their first look.

The ceremony was in the patio with architecture reminiscent of the beautiful palaces of the Alhambra.

At the end of the ceremony, everyone moved onto the terrace overlooking the Generalife, enjoying lunch to the sound of a Spanish guitar.

The couple wanted a very minimalist and delicate decoration, with ikebana style floral centrepieces on a nude table runner.

Each guest received a ceramic pomegranate as a gift of the M&J wedding, which also was used as a place card with each guest’s name on it.

Before everyone continued with the party in a disco open only for them in the city centre, a flamenco show captivated everyone’s attention, thrilling with its strength and with the brilliant performance of the dancer.

A destination wedding in a very charming place where M&J and their guests enjoyed such a special and unforgettable day.
