An elegant destination wedding in a Spanish castle
For all couples who dream of an elegant destination wedding in a Spanish castle, we tell you the unique and unforgettable day of a beautiful couple who from Peru and US made their dream of getting married in Spain come true.
Choosing Andalusia as a destination wedding and that the big day arrives covered with clouds and with rain, may not be the perfect plan for the wedding of your dreams…But I assure you that in L&D’s wedding, that rain, in that surrounding and with the general aesthetics of this wedding, created a perfect and most romantic atmosphere.
The villages of the province of Jaén are a jewel to discover…When we talk about Andalusia, the first thing we think of is Seville, Granada, Málaga and Córdoba…And we forget the most elegant and the most Renaissance province: Jaén.
Between charming villages and architectural jewels of the Spanish Renaissance, a small castle surrounded by olive trees was the setting chosen by this couple for their destination wedding in Spain.
But it was in a church in Úbeda where the big day of L&D began.
In the architecture of the Basílica de Santa María de los Reales Alcázares, the Gotic, Mudéjar, Renaissance and Baroque styles are mixed, creating a beautiful harmony between the different areas that make up this beautiful church.
Here, surrounded by the closest relatives, L&D said “I do”, to then continue the celebration in a majestic palace with a beautiful courtyard that welcomed this small group from Peru and US.
In the main hall of this castle, a long imperial table dominated the room.
An elegant, delicate and timeless decoration by Alejandra Romero Floral Studio, who was also in charge of decorating the fireplace, creating an even more cozy atmosphere.
Small details made the table unique: an elegant stationery by Wild Flower Estudio and small bottles of olive oil by Castillo de Canena as a gift for each guest.
The bride chose a very special bouquet and the florist Alejandra Romero Floral Studio used lily of the valley, sweet peas, astrantia and oxypetalum to create this delicate piece.
A Spanish guitar during the welcome cocktail and a flamenco show to start the party, gave the Andalusian touch to this destination wedding in southern Spain.
An intimate event, relaxed but at the same time elegant and timeless, with a couple who enjoyed every moment with their loved ones who were able to live a unique experience during their stay in Andalusia.
