When you start planning your wedding, one of the first things you have to do with your wedding planner<\/a> <\/strong>is to define the style, the theme and colors of your big day. There is a tool that can help you with this task: a mood board<\/em>.<\/p>\n

WHAT IS A MOOD BOARD AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A mood board is a type of collage inspiration that help to define and design a wedding.<\/p>\n

In this board we can collect all that elements that inspire us: colors, materials, texture, ideas, sketchs, etc. All these elements will help us to create a color palette on which you will design the wedding (from the stationery to the bridal shoes). A mood board will help us to filter the ideas and to define a style and a theme.<\/p>\n

HOW TO COLLECT THESE ELEMENTS?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

There are two ways to do it: a physical support<\/em>, with a notebook or a foam board, or in a digital form <\/em>creating a storage folder, or using one of the most famous tools like Pinterest<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

After a first meeting with the couple where they communicate their ideas and tastes, I personally create a Pinterest secret board, in which only we have access, and where we will add all things that we like and inspire us.<\/p>\n

A mood board will help us to choose the theme, the flowers, the accessories, the stationery, etc. so everything is harmonious and follow a common thread.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s very important that you always keep your mood board in mind when you will coordinate with each vendor, so they also know your tastes, theme and colors and they can use that so everything follow the same line.<\/p>\n
