The Wedding Day Coordination to get the perfect big day

There are couples that plan their wedding without the help of a professional of the wedding industry, but when the date of the wedding is close, they need to hire a wedding planner for the wedding day coordination, so they can enjoy their day with the calm that everything will turn out right.

But, what is exactly this service? The work of coordination of the wedding planner starts around  3  weeks before the wedding, when she makes contact with all vendors and check all their works, time of arrival, and any other detail that she has to keep in mind so that the day of the wedding all will go well.

Then she prepares a timing of the day in which there are the times of vendors, reminders, times of ceremony and banquet, surprises, music, etc.

A week before she has to confirm the number of the guests and final seating plan.

Sometimes the wedding planner coordinate the ceremony (when it is a civil or symbolic ceremony), through a guide notes prepared previously with the couple and officiant, and where there are the main moments, rituals, musics, etc.

The previous hours of the ceremony, the wedding planner supervises the ceremony and banquet places, the decoration and the works of all vendors.

During the reception, she coordinates all the planned activities, and she stays until after the first dance so that all turn out well.

The charm of a winter wedding

I admit it! I love the Winter weddings more every day. They create an original and romantic atmosphere. The elements used for decoration of the ceremony and banquet, and the styling of the bride, make very different weddings.

Imagine a bride with a long sleeve dress, some detail of lace, a velvet ribbon, and covered with a stole or a cape…You feel like getting married right in December, isn’t it?

You can also use elegant fabrics in the decoration of ceremony and banquet, and a color palette in earth tones, green, white, wine and marsala colors, and, why not, a touch of black.

A fireplace full of candles and decorated with greenery or flowers, can be the perfect backdrop for a ceremony in a medieval castle or in an old stately mansion.

You can use wood tables to create rustic corner for the “sweet moment”, or a banquet decorated without tablecloth and with green garlands with eucalyptus, olive leaves and various candles.

Branchs, dried leaves, pinecones, and cotton, can replace perfectly the flowers and they create a warm and original feel.

But if you love flowers, there is a new trend this year, that are hanging floral decorations.

And what do you think to put hot chocolate and churros corner, instead of the typical candy bar?

Another benefit to get married in Winter, is that many vendors offer to the couple discounts and sales, so they can save money.

Certainly, a day of december can give life to a unique, elegant and different wedding, that will leave your guests open-mouthed!

All that daring and passionate couples that decide to choose this different way to say “Yes, I do”, should know that there are many advantages that make the elopement a simple and fascinating way to replace the traditional wedding:

  • The planning of an elopement is much more simple. It’s mainly about looking for the date that is in the couple interest, and especially, to decide where to realize it. In the elopement, there are very few suppliers involved: a location, an officiant, a photographer, flowers, make up artist, hairdresser and location for a romantic dinner.
  • Therefore the expenses are mínimum unlike the typical wedding.
  • Another advantage is to join the elopement with the honeymoon in some exotic and attractive place.
